Deep Cleaning

Whole-House Checklist

These tasks apply to almost every room in your home:

• Dusting: Thorough dusting of all surfaces including furniture, shelves, décor, window sills, ledges, and wall hangings.

• High-Touch Points: Disinfecting light switches, door handles, and remotes.

• High-Level Cleaning: Removing cobwebs from corners and ceiling edges.

• Low-Level Cleaning: Damp-wiping or dusting exposed baseboards and floor edges.

• Floors: Vacuuming all carpets, rugs, and stairs; sweeping and mopping hard surface floors.

• Trash: Emptying all wastebaskets and recycling containers.

Kitchen Deep Clean

• Appliances: Sanitizing the interior and exterior of the microwave and wiping down the exterior of all major appliances like the refrigerator and dishwasher.

• Surfaces: Scrubbing and disinfecting countertops and backsplashes.

• Cabinets & Pantries: Wiping down the exterior of cabinet doors.

• Stove/Oven: Cleaning the stovetop, burners, and range hood.

Bathroom Deep Clean

• Sanitization: Scrubbing and disinfecting toilets, bathtubs, showers, and sinks to remove soap scum and bacteria.

• Fixtures: Polishing faucets and hardware; cleaning and descaling showerheads.

• Glass: Cleaning and shining mirrors and shower doors.

• Detailing: Wiping down vanities and cleaning the tile grout.

Bedrooms & Living Areas

• Furniture Detailing: Dusting and vacuuming upholstered furniture and under cushions.

• Bedding: Making beds and tidying up the general space.

• Doors: Removing smudges and fingerprints from doors and frames.

• Windows: Cleaning the entry window and one set of patio doors.

• Trash: Emptying wastebaskets and relining them.

• Tidying: General straightening of the area and making beds (one courtesy linen change is often included if fresh sheets are provided).

Kitchen Maintenance Clean

• Surfaces: Wiping and sanitizing countertops and backsplashes.

• Sinks: Scrubbing and disinfecting the sink and polishing the faucet.

• Appliances: Wiping down the exterior of large appliances (oven, refrigerator, dishwasher) and cleaning the interior and exterior of the microwave.

• Small Appliances: Cleaning under and around small appliances on countertops.

Bathroom Maintenance Clean

• Sanitization: Cleaning and disinfecting toilets, bathtubs, showers, and sinks.

• Fixtures: Polishing mirrors, faucets, and chrome fixtures.

• Vanity: Wiping and sanitizing the vanity countertop and surface.

• Detailing: Spot-cleaning the exterior of cabinet doors and wiping light switch plates.

Living Areas & Bedrooms

• Dusting Detail: Dusting window sills, door frames, and reachable ceiling fans.

• Furniture: Polishing furniture surfaces and spot-vacuuming upholstery as needed.

• Glass: Cleaning the glass in entry doors and any glass-topped furniture.

• Baseboards: Spot-cleaning or dusting exposed baseboards (unlike a deep clean, they are not typically hand-washed).
